Sue Gregory
Power Flow

Previously an avid runner and gym enthusiast, Sue discovered yoga in 2007, initially practicing Ashtanga Vinyasa and Bikram before moving onto a more dynamic Vinyasa style. She immediately came to appreciate how yoga can benefit not only the body but the mind as well, and loves the physical and mental challenge yoga can offer.

Sue feels fortunate to have completed her yoga teacher training with Stewart Gilchrist (dynamic Vinyasa) and Per Hoglund (Ashtanga Vinyasa), on the 200 hour training with the Power Yoga Company. Inspired by her own experiences and the knowledge gained, Sue now seeks to inspire others in the classes she teaches.

Sue loves the physicality of yoga and this comes across in her classes. Her classes provide an uplifting experience that both calms and invigorates the body and mind.

John Sutton
Power Flow | Yin Yoga

John was introduced to yoga by his Danish wife Pia in February 2002. “....one day she dragged me into a class at our local health club and I’ve been lost to it ever since...”John’s experience has encompassed a wide variety of styles including Iyengar, Sivanada and general Hatha classes.  He is a member of the Yoga Alliance and is Rocket and Ashtanga Vinyasa trained (300 hours) through The Yoga People/It’s Yoga (SF).

“...Aside from the deep contentment that a good regular practice brings, I love the community aspect of yoga. The shared experience of a room full of people all moving with intention, awareness and rhythm is really special for me...”

John’s classes are sequenced around forward bends, twists, hip openers, backbends and working on core strength to move towards more challenging postures. John is currently involved in Teacher Training as part of the faculty of the current “Yoga People” London 200 hour Ashtanga Vinyasa training course.

Jo Arthur
Power Flow | Yin

Jo is a qualified Health Coach & Yoga Teacher. Having spent 15 years in the busy world of events & hospitality, Jo discovered yoga & healthy eating was the key to bring energy & balance into her life. Jo trained at The Power Yoga Company in London in 2011 and studied Yin Yoga & Anatomy with Paul Grilley, the godfather of Yin. She has also studied with US yoga goddess Shiva Rea and anatomy & Yin Yoga guru Paul Grilley.

Jo loves teaching the balance of Power Vinyasa & Gentle Yin and is passionate in sharing her love for yoga with everybody, not matter how old, fit or flexible you are! Jo’s classes are suitable for all levels and sprinkled with fun and a funky play list. Jo is proud to be an official ambassador for the stylish and slick sportswear brand, Sweaty Betty, and is certified by Yoga Alliance UK.

Laura Gaspar
Power Flow | Yin and Yang

Laura has been practicing different types of yoga (Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, Yin Yoga, Rocket Yoga and Dharma Mittra) for many years. She approached yoga for the physical reasons, but very soon with a regular practice she discovered how yoga gives much more than a simple workout.

In 2012 Laura went to India to become a certified Yoga teacher and share the benefits of yoga. She is now certified 500hrs in Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Rocket, Yin, Tripishore techniques and Mandala Yoga.

Laura's philosophy is that everybody is capable of practicing yoga, but not necessarily in the same way (different expectations, different bodies, injuries, etc.). With this in mind, she makes sure to adapt her classes to each group and to the individuals. Her aim is to put a smile on each student’s face and a nice feeling of well-being.

Dirish Shaktidas
Vinyasa Flow | Yin

Dirish Shaktidas is a flexaterian, immersed in the world of holistic healing. Dirish has been practising yoga and meditation for 10 years, and he teaches Vinyasa Flow, Dynamic, Yin Restore, and is a specialist in Shakti Dance, the Yoga of Dance. Trained under Yoga Works in LA and mentored by Maty Ezraty and Kia Miller.

Dirish's classes are described as rejuvenating, dynamic and chilled, and his teaching is clear, concise and mindful; with the focus on breath, alignment and bringing you into a state of inner peace.

Dirish leads his life by honouring his intention to help others become more conscious within thus becoming more aware outward. He is influenced by multiple yogic disciplines and teachers from past present and future. He believes that experience is life and life is the experience which is the greatest teacher.

Yogi Ashokananda
Himalayan Hatha

Yogi Ashokananda was raised in India and has been practising yoga since early childhood when his Grandfather was his first teacher. Over many years Yogi has been fortunate to develop his teaching, experience and education of yoga under some of the great remote, Indian masters. He has taught the teachings of the Bihar School of Yoga, the Sivananda Ashram and the Shri Ved Niketan Ashram. Now, as a Yoga, Meditation and spiritual Master, he teaches a number of his own profound teachings, insights and disciplines which have their roots in ancient, sacred Indian tradition.

Yogi Ashokananda is considered to be one of the true existing masters of yoga and meditation. His Power Yoga & Kriya Yoga DVD is currently available nationwide. He has press coverage from Yoga and Health magazine, Om magazine, Top Sante magazine among others and was featured in a Channel 4 Production called “Breath”.

Shamita Ray
Power Flow

Shamita Ray was born in Scotland. She worked as a dancer and choreographer for twenty years, specialising in contemporary dance and bharatanatyam (Indian classical dance). She started practising Iyengar yoga as a means to increase flexibility and complement dance training. A chance wandering into an Ashtanga class one day turned what was, until then, a mere hobby, into a lifelong passion, rivalling her love for dance. She went on to study both in India and in the UK with international teachers, including David Swenson, with whom she completed Ashtanga teacher training, and Lara Baumann, with whom she completed 500 hour teacher training. She most recently completed Advanced Teacher Training with Ana Forrest.

She currently offers classes, workshops and retreats worldwide in Vinyasa Flow yoga, that combine the precision and alignment of Iyengar, with the breath and dynamism of Ashtanga. She enjoys being creative in her classes, and loves challenging practitioners to discover what their bodies are truly capable of, while maintaining a sense of humour and playfulness. Specialising in teaching both children and adults, she uses her background as a dancer to choreograph imaginative sequences that move seamlessly from one posture to another, in a dance-like flow of breath and movement.

Adrianna Zaccardi
Mindful Flow

Adrianna’s dynamic teaching style is an expression of her spirit. Her classes are rooted in clear alignment, mindful, playful, and encourage curiosity and exploration. She chooses to recognise and facilitate the human desire for connection – not only within the body, mind and spirit, but also within our relationships, our communities and nature. With a gentle laugh and smile, Adrianna encourages her students to recognise that despite its transformative value, yoga can present an array of emotion and experiences.

Adrianna came to yoga 10 years ago and has not looked back. After her 10 years playing high level, state basketball in Australia, a friend introduced Adrianna to yoga while she was studying Contemporary Art at university. Her natural curious nature was sparked upon embarking on this ancient practice, as it truly provided a space for her to explore not only the physical body, but the subtle layers of the self.

In addition to undertaking two 200hr internationally accredited trainings (2012 Duncan Peak, Power Living Australia, and 2013 Eoin Finn, Blissology Yoga), Adrianna has been under the close mentorship of well recognised London based senior teacher and renowned teacher mentor, Naomi Absalom. And in 2016 she began her studies in Energy Healing.

Adrianna’s classes have become a natural space for her students cultivate a space for self-reflection, to feel what is happening across all layers of the mind-body. Her sensitivity opens her up to the depth of the energetic field, where she embodies the subtle shifts of energy, translating them into thoughtful questions to pose to you as you practice. Safe alignment creates space to feel and discover clarity within the body. Adrianna’s intention for her students is to create a space for you to cultivate knowingness, build your intuition and trust what you discover as you listen to your body. A space to explore, discover, and return.

Choi Kok
Power Flow | Restorative

Choi has practiced yoga for nearly 20 years and is a British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance Accredited Teacher (qualifying with The Yoga Academy). She has practised Vipassana meditation for over 15 years and within that time attended numerous silent Vipassana retreats. She believes that yoga can benefit and be practiced by all; alignment cues with modifications/variations are continually offered so that classes are inclusive and taught within a compassionate environment.

Choi teaches an enriching and nurturing practice through dynamic/gentle sequences and yin/restorative yoga, encouraging the body/mind to be linked with breath; helping still the fluctuations of the mind and to be more present in the unfolding of each moment.

Cloudia Hill
Power Flow

Cloudia Hill has been working in TV, Film and Theatre for the last 10 years and found Yoga whilst on tour in the USA 7 years ago. The Yoga enabled a focus and stamina, which was required for a long tour. Once she found the mat it became her safe second home.

The discipline of Yoga is not an easy journey and there are plenty of obstacles along the way. However by learning patience, focus and marrying breath, body and mind it allows you to create a space free from obstacles mentally and physically. It enables you to grow on and off the mat.

Cloudia trained with Stewart Gilchrist at “The Power Yoga Company”. Her teaching is inspired and influenced by Doug Swenson, Greg Gumucio and Dice lida- Klein to whom she is incredibly grateful.

She is known for a strong, fun and dynamic class with fluid sequencing. Her infamous Breatheyourbody music lists can be found on Spotify. Her natural and honest approach allows you to strip off your armour explore, find a freedom, take up as little or as much space as you need and most importantly encourages you to smile. Her non judgemental approach helps you to grow both physically and spiritually on and off the mat.

Matt Lamburn
Himalayan Hatha
Matt began his journey with yoga in response to an inner calling and discovered a way to connect the mind, body and spirit in flowing, elegant and graceful sequences of movement.
 
As a dedicated student of Yogi Ashokananda and Himalayan Hatha yoga, Matt brings a sense of strength and dynamism to his classes with a focus on the breath, the alignment of the body and the inherent strength and wisdom within our physical form.
 
Matt is a practitioner of many holistic therapies, including Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Crystal Therapy and Reiki, which has allowed him to glimpse the golden thread of all healing and bodywork modalities and their common roots in the science and practice of yoga.

Risa Gabrielle
Mindful Flow
Yoga came into Risa's life more than a dozen years ago when she was assigned to write a newspaper article about a new studio in town. It was a happy accident as she didn't know how much she needed it or how much it would change her life. She was drawn to the asana but stayed for the transformations. Personal challenges with anxiety, stress and migraines were soon eased by practicing yoga. This is the magic of yoga that Risa revels in sharing as a teacher – how it can shape and improve life far beyond the mat. 
 
Risa's classes are accessible and filled with warmth, inspiration and humour – all backed by a motivating soundtrack. She invites her students discover what their bodies need and what their minds can let go of. Risa teaches across London, ranging from mindful flow and beginner's courses to dynamic vinyasa flow and restorative yoga, and she specialises in yoga for sleep and insomnia.

Kim Peacock
Power Flow | Mindful Flow

Kim's passion for mindful movement started during her Performing Arts studies. Kim fell in love with Vinyasa Flow Yoga and Meditation in 2002 as a result of a deepening connection to herself and life as a whole. She discovered the benefits of Yoga to be physically, mentally and energetically immense, therefore inspiring her to study to become a Yoga Teacher with The Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center, Bahamas in 2004.

Kim has also studied with The Power Yoga Company London and continues her path as a student with various teachers from an array of traditions such as Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Yin and Meditation. Kim studies and is inspired by teachers such as Shiva Rea, Meghan Currie, Kathryn Budig and Tiffany Cruikshank.  She teaches from her heart within a warm and compassionate space sharing her personal experience and passion for movement and mindfulness. She believes Yoga and Meditation should be accessible to everyone and her aim is to support you to live a mindful life, with clarity, calm and deep connection. Her approach is fun, playful and calming all set to a backdrop of uplifting music.

Jill Watson
Pregnancy Yoga
Jill has been practicing yoga for over a decade and teaching since 2012. In her own explorations with yoga she has tried many approaches, but particularly connects with Hatha Flow and Scaravelli approaches. She trained in Pre-natal yoga with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, and in teaching pregnancy yoga, loves to help students with a steady unwinding of tension, strengthening work, breath, gestures, sound and deep relaxation.   Jill’s teaching style is upbeat and enthusiastic, encouraging a little humour to allow you to be playful, and explore yoga postures during your pregnancy to support mum and growing baby.
