Having worked in the corporate world since leaving University, the fast-paced and unhealthy lifestyle left Natasha wanting more. Natasha felt the need to reevaluate her career path and explore her creative side and her love of Philosophy, Yoga and Spirituality so she travelled to India and lived in an ashram. At Yoga Vidya Gurukul she was immersed in the Yogic way of life and Satyananda’s style of Yoga and Yoga Nidra. Following India, Natasha has trained in Vinyasa Yoga, Hot Yoga and Yin Yoga and is inspired by Sianna Sherman, Elena Brower, Tiffany Cruishank, Sarah Powers, Bo Forbes and Meghan Currie… and most importantly all of her students.

Natasha is a featured Teacher for yearly events and festivals including Mind Body Spirit, The British Yoga Festival and Wilderness Festival and teaches internationally on retreats abroad.  She founded London’s raw food and Yoga day retreat with The Raw Chef.

We asked Natasha...

Which asana is your nemesis?

Chair Pose! It has been the one to challenge me the most through my Yoga journey.  And also the one pose that I have learned the most within.  It has taught me patience and that any challenge can be transcended with deep and purposeful breath.  Utkatasana is the main pose that has taught me the power of softening in the face of intensity.  And that is why I am known to hold my Vinyasa students in it for a loooong time! **evil giggle**

What is your guilty pleasure?

Netflix and Booja-Booja chocolate ice-cream

Where did you last go on holiday and did you take a mat?

Ibiza and yes I took my travel mat from Manduka - it goes everywhere.

Run to catch the bus or stroll and wait for the next one?

Depends on how I am doing for time in between classes and clients!

What is the soundtrack to your life?

My self-compiled Spotify "Yoga" playlist of electronic music and house

North or South of the river?

Well I love North London but I have always found myself living South of the river! So SOUTH!

What is your mantra for life?

I find myself saying two over and over:

"I love you beautiful Universe!" and "Thank you thank you thank you"

Natasha teaches Vinyasa Flow every Thursday at 7.15pm followed by Yin at 8.30pm.
